First (real) ride of the season
The Logging Road Cyclist and his buddy Big D took advantage of the onset of true autumn weather to enjoy one of TLRC’s standards, the Prairie Mountain Loop. Check it out!
The Rain Arriveth
A big day here at TLRC. The first rain ride of the season. Put on tights, capilene, even wore gloves coming back off the hill from the usual workout ride. Even with all this, TLRC got cold coming down, just like old times.
The Rain Cometh
A big day here at TLRC. The fenders went back on! According to the forecasts, the first big storm of the season is on its way and the true riding season is upon us. This is the first year that TLRC ever took the fenders off and rode gravel all summer. Perhaps it was the late wetness this year that led him to realize that gravel did not have to stop when the rain did. At any rate TLRC put in a lot of dry miles this summer and covered a lot of new ground. But now it’s time to get back and start logging all those old rides and some new projects lurking in the dark recesses of TLRC’s brain. Stay tuned.
